IAASSE is an independent academic assessment and certification body. We write rigorous, standardised assessments based on freely available knowledge — and award verifiable certificates to those who demonstrate genuine mastery.
IAASSE — the International Association of Academicians — is an academic membership organisation dedicated to advancing education and professional development globally. Our learning platform is an initiative of the Association, designed to make knowledge assessment and professional certification accessible to every learner, everywhere, at no cost.
We are not a course provider. We do not create or host course content. Our role is to assess, recognise, and certify knowledge — independently of how or where that knowledge was acquired.
All certificates issued through this platform are awarded under the authority of the IAASSE Academic Board and carry the Association's official seal.
We believe the examining body should be independent of the teaching body. IAASSE assessments are developed solely by our Academic Board — ensuring they are objective, rigorous, and free from commercial influence.
A learner in any country, at any income level, should be able to earn a credible professional certificate. There are no paywalls on our assessments. There are no subscriptions. Certification is free, always.
We curate links to publicly available Open Educational Resources published by universities, research institutions, and technology companies. We do not reproduce, modify, or commercialise this content — we direct learners to it.
Every IAASSE certificate carries a unique ID and QR code that resolves to a publicly accessible verification page. Employers, institutions, and individuals can verify any certificate without an account or subscription.
For each topic, we link directly to freely and publicly available educational content — lectures, notes, videos, and reading materials published by universities and research organisations under open licences. You study at those sources, on their own websites, completely free.
When you feel ready, return to the IAASSE platform and attempt our standardised 10-question assessment. These questions are developed by the IAASSE Academic Board and are designed to test genuine comprehension, not rote recall.
FREE courses: scoring 80%+ on a 10-question assessment earns an IAASSE Certificate of Achievement. PRO courses: scoring 85%+ on a rigorous multi-section assessment (Core Knowledge + Applied & Cross-Domain) earns an IAASSE Professional Certification with a professional designation. Both record your name, subject, score, date, and a unique verifiable certificate ID.
Your certificate includes a QR code that links to our public verification page. Anyone can scan it and instantly confirm your name, score, subject, and date of certification — without logging in or paying anything.
Course content linked on this platform is published by third parties under their own licences. IAASSE has no affiliation with, endorsement from, or commercial relationship with any of these institutions. Certificates issued by IAASSE reflect the learner's performance on IAASSE's own assessment — not certification by any third-party institution.

The IAASSE Learning Platform ("Platform") is operated by the International Association of Academicians ("IAASSE," "we," "us," or "our"), accessible at www.iaasse.org.
IAASSE is an independent academic membership organisation. This Platform is an assessment and certification service. It allows registered users to access links to Open Educational Resource (OER) materials published by third parties, and to attempt standardised assessments developed by the IAASSE Academic Board. Successful candidates are awarded an IAASSE Certificate of Achievement.
IAASSE is not a university, college, or degree-granting institution. The certificates issued through this Platform are professional development credentials awarded by IAASSE on the basis of assessment performance. They are not academic degrees, diplomas, or government-regulated qualifications unless explicitly stated.
The educational content linked from this Platform is published by universities, research institutions, technology companies, and independent educators ("OER Providers"). IAASSE has no formal affiliation, partnership, licensing agreement, endorsement relationship, or commercial arrangement with any OER Provider, including but not limited to any university, college, or technology company whose materials are referenced on this Platform.
The names of institutions referenced in course descriptions (for example, as the original publisher of a set of lectures or course notes) are used solely for informational purposes — to identify the origin of the linked public resource. Such references do not imply any relationship between IAASSE and those institutions.

An IAASSE Certificate of Achievement is awarded by IAASSE to a registered learner who:
The certificate confirms that the named individual demonstrated, through IAASSE's standardised assessment, a satisfactory level of knowledge in the stated subject area at the time of assessment. It does not certify completion of any third-party course, programme, or qualification.
All certificates are issued solely by IAASSE. No certificate on this Platform is issued by, on behalf of, or with the authorisation of any OER Provider or third-party institution. Any employer, institution, or individual reviewing an IAASSE certificate should understand that the credential is issued by IAASSE and reflects IAASSE's assessment, not the assessment or certification of any university or company.
Every certificate carries a unique Certificate ID and a QR code linking to the IAASSE public verification page at www.iaasse.org/verify. The verification page displays the certificate holder's name, subject, score, and date of issue. No account or payment is required to verify a certificate.
Certificates may not be altered, forged, or misrepresented. Presenting an IAASSE certificate as a credential from any third-party institution is a misrepresentation. IAASSE reserves the right to revoke certificates obtained through dishonest means and to maintain a record of revoked certificates accessible at the verification page.
IAASSE certificates are professional development credentials. IAASSE makes no representation or warranty that possession of a certificate will result in employment, academic admission, or any other outcome. Acceptance of IAASSE certificates is at the sole discretion of employers, educational institutions, and other third parties.
The IAASSE platform design, assessment questions, certificate layouts, and all original written content produced by IAASSE are protected by copyright and published under CC BY-NC 4.0. You may share and adapt this material for non-commercial purposes with attribution to IAASSE.
